Audley 24" DTF Printer Review

If your desktop DTF printer is running all day and you're still turning orders away, you've outgrown it. The next step is a 24-inch commercial DTF printer with industrial Epson i3200 printheads, and Audley makes four of them. This review breaks down every model on speed, power, real-world output, price and the printer + shaker sets, so you can pick the right one the first time.

Why a 24-inch Audley DTF printer?

Desktop DTF printers (A4 and 13" A3) are great for starting out, but they hit a ceiling: one small printhead, a narrow film and hand-powdering. A 24-inch Audley printer changes three things at once:

  • Width: 24" (60 cm) film lets you gang far more designs side by side on every pass.
  • Printheads: Epson i3200-A1 industrial heads instead of hobby-grade heads, from 2 up to 6 per machine.
  • Workflow: paired with an Audley powder shaker & dryer, film goes from printing to powdered and cured transfers with no manual powdering.

Every Audley printer sold by DTF Gears is backed by US-based technical support with parts stocked in a Los Angeles warehouse, plus free remote setup and operator training.

8072-3 Wi-Fi 2 × Epson i3200-A1 14 m²/h (4-pass) 220V · 1,500W 507 lb $8,900
S8074-3 4 × Epson i3200-A1 26 m²/h (4-pass) 220V · 1,500W 600 lb $12,499
8076-3 6 × Epson i3200-A1 (3 color + 3 white) 28 m²/h (6-pass) 220V · 2,600W 728 lb $17,999

Speeds are manufacturer maximums. Actual output depends on artwork, ink coverage, RIP settings, film and room conditions.

What those speeds mean in real prints

Square meters per hour doesn't mean much on a shop floor, so here it is in square feet. A 12" × 12" full-front print uses about one square foot of film.

Model Fast mode Production mode (6-pass) High quality (8-pass)
2-head (S7070-3 / 8072-3) ~150 sq ft/h ~86 sq ft/h ~65 sq ft/h
4-head (S8074-3) ~280 sq ft/h ~194 sq ft/h ~129 sq ft/h
6-head (8076-3) n/a ~301 sq ft/h n/a

Rule of thumb: in a real 8-hour shift, with setup, cleaning and design changes, expect roughly half the rated speed. On that basis, a 2-head machine can realistically produce around 300+ full-front transfers a day, a 4-head around 750+, and a 6-head 1,200+, with more if you gang smaller left-chest and sleeve prints.

Model by model

Here's who each machine is built for. You can also see the full lineup, including the A3 bundle and the matching shakers, on our Audley DTF printers page.

Audley S7070-3: the best first commercial printer

Audley S7070-3 24 inch 2 head DTF printer with Epson i3200-A1 printheads

The S7070-3 is the entry point to 24" production: two Epson i3200-A1 printheads, CMYK + White pigment ink and up to 14 m²/h. Film handling uses precision pinch rollers with a Leadshine servo drive for accurate registration, and a mechanical ink station keeps ink flowing steadily to cut down on unnecessary cleaning cycles. A touchscreen control panel runs it all.

  • Best for: shops moving up from an xTool, Procolored or Epson-based desktop printer
  • In the box: 1 L each of C/M/Y/K ink, 3 L white, 4 kg powder, a 100 m roll of 24" film, RIP software license
  • Price: $8,499, or $13,199 as a set with the ADL07K12 shaker (save $1,599)

Audley 8072-3 Wi-Fi: same speed, built for teams

Audley 8072-3 24 inch Wi-Fi DTF printer with 2 Epson i3200-A1 printheads

The 8072-3 has the same two i3200-A1 heads and the same 14 m²/h top speed, plus a few upgrades:

  • Built-in Wi-Fi: several designers or workstations can send jobs without being tied to one cable.
  • Bigger ink tanks (1.5 L CMYK, 2.5 L white), so you refill less often.
  • An anti-collision system that protects the carriage and printheads from uneven film.
  • Best for: shops with more than one person preparing artwork
  • Price: $8,900 (only $401 more than the S7070-3), or $15,199 with the ADL07K12 shaker

Audley S8074-3: the production sweet spot

Audley S8074-3 24 inch 4 head DTF printer with Epson i3200-A1 printheads

Doubling to four i3200-A1 printheads nearly doubles output: up to 26 m²/h in fast mode and 18 m²/h in 6-pass production mode, still on the same 24" footprint. It uses a four-station ink system and an industrial control system with a touchscreen.

  • Best for: shops filling daily wholesale and gang-sheet orders
  • In the box: 1 L each of C/M/Y/K ink, 3 L white, 5 kg powder, a 100 m roll of 24" film, RIP software license
  • Price: $12,499, or $18,995 as a set with the ADL07K10 automatic shaker (save $2,503), the biggest saving in the range

Audley 8076-3: built for high-volume transfer businesses

Audley 8076-3 24 inch 6 head DTF printer with Epson i3200-A1 printheads

Six i3200-A1 printheads in a 3 color + 3 white setup push the 8076-3 to 28 m²/h in 6-pass. That's the fastest production-quality speed in the lineup. A film feeding and splicing device keeps long roll-to-roll runs going, so it's built for transfer businesses selling gang sheets all day.

  • Best for: DTF transfer suppliers and shops running multiple shifts
  • Note: draws 2,600W, so plan a dedicated 220V circuit
  • Price: $17,999, or $24,499 as a set with the ADL07K10 shaker (save $2,499)

Don't skip the shaker: printer + shaker sets

Audley ADL07K10 60cm automatic DTF powder shaker and dryer

A 24" printer outputs film faster than anyone can powder it by hand. The Audley 60 cm powder shaker & dryer applies and cures the hot-melt powder automatically, so transfers come off the line ready to press. Buying them together as a set is also where the real savings are:

Set Shaker Bought separately Set price You save
24" 2-head set (S7070-3) ADL07K12 $14,798 $13,199 $1,599
24" 4-head set (S8074-3) ADL07K10 $21,498 $18,995 $2,503

Before you buy: 4 things to check

  1. 220V power. All four Audley 24" DTF printers run on AC 220V. Many US shops only have standard 120V outlets, so have an electrician add a 220V circuit before delivery. The 6-head (2,600W) should have its own dedicated circuit.
  2. Space and delivery. Packed weights run from 465 lb to 728 lb, so make sure you have a clear path, a level floor and a few people (or a pallet jack) on delivery day.
  3. Room conditions. Keep the room between about 59–86°F (64–86°F for the 4- and 6-head) for stable ink and print quality.
  4. Printhead budget. The 1-year warranty covers major machine components but excludes printheads and ink-system parts, which wear with use. Keep a spare Epson i3200-A1 printhead on hand, and see our printhead guide to keep heads healthy.

Verdict: which Audley should you buy?

Your daily volume (full-front transfers) Buy
Up to ~300 a day, upgrading from desktop S7070-3 2-head set: $13,199
Up to ~300 a day, several designers 8072-3 Wi-Fi: $8,900
~300–750 a day, wholesale and gang sheets S8074-3 4-head set: $18,995
750+ a day, or selling transfers 8076-3 6-head set: $24,499

If you're unsure, we generally steer growing shops to the 4-head S8074-3 set. It has the biggest set saving and enough headroom that you won't need to upgrade again next year. FAQ

Is Audley a good DTF printer brand?

Audley builds commercial 24" DTF printers on Epson i3200-A1 industrial printheads, with servo-driven film handling and mechanical ink stations. Bought through DTF Gears, they come with US-based support, parts stocked in Los Angeles, and free remote setup and training. See the full Audley DTF printer range.

Can I run an Audley DTF printer on a regular US outlet?

No. All Audley 24" DTF printers need AC 220V. Have an electrician install a 220V outlet before your printer arrives.

How many shirts can an Audley 24" DTF printer do per day?

As a realistic estimate over an 8-hour shift: around 300+ full-front transfers a day on a 2-head, 750+ on a 4-head and 1,200+ on a 6-head. Ganging smaller prints raises those numbers.

Do I need the powder shaker?

At 24" production speeds, yes. Hand-powdering can't keep up. The printer + shaker sets save between $1,599 and $2,503 compared with buying separately.

Can I finance an Audley DTF printer?

Yes. DTF Gears offers financing through Click Lease and Synchrony. Check your options here.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Every Audley printer and set ships free within the USA.
