When a printhead fails, your whole business stops until a new one arrives, and ordering the wrong one costs you even more time. The problem is that printhead names are confusing: XP600, I1600, I3200-A1, I3200-U1, "kits," "genuine" and "unlocked" all sound alike. This guide skips the jargon and matches every printer we sell to the exact replacement printhead it needs, with prices, links and the checks to make before you order.
Quick tip
Before you buy, run a nozzle check and do 2–3 cleaning cycles. Many "dead" printheads are just clogged. If gaps stay in the same place after cleaning, or a color or white channel won't fire at all, it's time for a replacement. Use the table below to find yours.

UV printer printheads
eufyMake E1 replacement printhead
The official eufyMake E1 UV printhead fits every E1 setup: 3D texture, rotary and UV DTF. It's built for eufyMake's CMYK + White + Gloss UV inks, so stick with genuine eufyMake ink to protect it. $599.99 (was $699.99).
Before replacing the head, try the cheaper fix first. The eufyMake E1 Printhead Station Replacement Kit ($29.99) replaces the ink pads, scrapers, foam pads and ink tank pads. Worn station parts are a common cause of poor cleaning and missing nozzles. Pair it with the eufyMake JetClean cleaning cartridge for regular maintenance.

xTool O1 Omni printhead kit
The O1 Omni runs different heads depending on how it's configured, so the kit comes in three versions, all $399:
- Kit-01 UV and Kit-02 UV, for UV printing setups
- Kit-01 DTG, for the DTG (fabric) configuration
Check which head position and mode you're replacing before you order. A UV kit won't work in a DTG setup, and the reverse is also true. Not sure? Send us a photo of your current head.
Epson I3200-U1 UV (Audley 24" UV DTF)
The industrial UV head inside the Audley 24" UV DTF printers: 3,200 nozzles, a 1.33" print width and Epson PrecisionCore MicroTFP technology. It's sold unlocked, and in some markets it's also called the I3200-S1 HD. $1,399.
DTF printer printheads
xTool Apparel Printer Plus printhead (genuine Epson I1600-A1)
The xTool Apparel Printer uses an Epson I1600-A1 head with 1,600 nozzles in 4 rows, for CMYK and white water-based DTF ink. Buy the genuine xTool version, not a generic I1600-A1. It's the one listed as fully compatible with the Apparel Printer. $999 (was $1,099).

Procolored K13 Lite original print head
A brand-new original head made only for the Procolored K13 Lite. At $280 it's the most affordable replacement on this list, and one reason the K13 Lite is a popular low-running-cost starter printer. Use the ink system Procolored specifies for the K13 Lite to protect your warranty.
Epson XP600 (F1080-A1): Procolored F13 Pro, P13, VF13 Pro and Audley XP600 models
The XP600 is the most common head in A3 DTF and UV DTF printers: 1,080 nozzles in 6 rows, suitable for DTF, UV, sublimation and water-based systems. It fits the Procolored F13 Pro, P13 and VF13 Pro Panda, the Audley 12" and 13" UV DTF printers, the Audley A3 E2030-X5, and many other XP600-based machines. $399.
Epson I3200-A1: Audley 24" DTF printers
The industrial workhorse in every Audley 24" DTF printer (2, 4 and 6 head), and in many other commercial DTF machines: 3,200 nozzles in 8 rows, water-based ink, up to 4 colors per head. $999. Keeping one spare on the shelf is cheap insurance against downtime on a production line.
Important: the I3200-A1 and I3200-A1 HD are not interchangeable. Check the label on your current head before ordering.
Epson I1600-A1: other I1600-based DTF printers
A genuine, unlocked Epson I1600-A1 for water-based DTF systems such as Sublistar and Infiniti I1600 models: 1,600 nozzles and a 1.33" print width. $649. If you own an xTool Apparel Printer, use the genuine xTool head above instead.
Clean or replace? 4 signs it's time for a new printhead
- The same nozzles stay missing after 2–3 cleaning cycles and a soak with cleaning solution.
- A whole channel is dead, for example white ink won't fire at all even though the lines are primed.
- Banding or misfiring keeps coming back even after alignment, a new damper or capping station, and fresh ink.
- The printer shows a printhead error that doesn't clear after reseating the cables.
Not there yet? Work through our clogged printhead guide and banding & streaking fixes first. They can save you the cost of a new head.
Before you order: 5 checks
- Match the ink type. Water-based DTF heads (I1600-A1, I3200-A1) and UV heads (I3200-U1, eufyMake E1) are not interchangeable.
- Match the exact version. I3200-A1 vs I3200-A1 HD, and xTool O1 Kit-01 UV vs Kit-02 UV vs DTG. Check the label on your current head.
- Use genuine brand heads where they exist. eufyMake, xTool and Procolored K13 Lite heads are made for those printers.
- Replace the printhead cables too if they're worn. Old or damaged cables can damage a brand-new head.
- Printheads are final sale once installed. Because ink touches them, they can't be returned after installation, so ask us if you're not 100% sure.
Make your new printhead last
- Print every day, even a small nozzle check. Idle ink, especially white, is the number one killer of DTF printheads.
- Moisturize the head during downtime. Procolored Nozzle Protection Cleaning Solution ($59.99) keeps nozzles from drying out when the printer is idle for 1–3 days or longer.
- Replace wiper and capping parts on schedule. For the eufyMake E1, the station replacement kit is $29.99.
- Use quality ink. Cheap ink is the fastest way to clog a $1,000 head. See our premium DTF inks.
- Keep the room stable: roughly 59–86°F and 40–60% humidity.

FAQ
Which printhead does the eufyMake E1 use?
The eufyMake E1 uses its own genuine eufyMake UV printhead. It fits all E1 configurations, including 3D texture, rotary and UV DTF. See the E1 printhead.
Can I put a generic Epson I1600-A1 in my xTool Apparel Printer?
We recommend the genuine xTool Apparel Printer Plus printhead, which is listed as fully compatible with the Apparel Printer. The generic I1600-A1 is meant for other I1600-based printers.
Which printhead do Audley 24" DTF printers use?
All Audley 24" DTF printers (S7070-3, 8072-3 Wi-Fi, S8074-3 and 8076-3) use the Epson I3200-A1. The 24" UV DTF models use the Epson I3200-U1 UV.
Which Procolored printers use the XP600?
The Procolored F13 Pro, P13 and VF13 Pro Panda use XP600 heads. The K13 Lite uses its own original K13 Lite print head.
Can I return a printhead?
Unused printheads can be discussed with our team, but once a head has been installed or exposed to ink, the sale is final. That's standard for printheads, because ink contact makes them consumable parts.
How do I know if my printhead is clogged or dead?
If cleaning cycles and a cleaning-solution soak bring the missing nozzles back, it was clogged. If the same nozzles or a whole channel stay dead, the head needs replacing.
